PAY: $120,000 - $140,000 JOB SUMMARY: This position provides SCIF management and information system security development and management. Shift: M-F 7:30am-4:30pm. Occassional after hours support per COR or PM requests. Location: AeroTech Facility 1925 Aerotech Drive Colorado Springs, CO. PRIMARY DUTIES: Develop and implement SCIF Construction Security Plan (CSP) Maintain all SCIF and construction documentation: Visitor Logs, Lists of Security Incidents, Equipment Logs Document security violations/deviations from CSP and notify SSO/AO within 24 hours Maintain copies of all pertinent documentation related to the project Manage and secure escorts for personnel during construction and maintenance of facility Maintain roster of all personnel used on the project and file with accreditation files Manage security operations of construction site until facility is accredited by DIA Manage Security Escorts to ensure site security is maintained, to include power outages, natural disasters, and medical emergencies Notify SSO and AO within 24 hours of any situations where the design may change, plans cannot be met, or when a work stoppage is possible Develop procedures to deny unauthorized entry and material access to the construction site Maintain and update facility accreditation documentation, waivers, and approvals for Physical and TEMPEST Accreditations On-site point of contact for all emergency incidents using #911. Report to Site Security Manager/Government Special Security Officer and Program Manager Review and verify security clearances and accesses through Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Scattered Castles Administer an existing annual security training program for all personnel with access to assigned SCIFs Manage the process to secure, manage, and maintain DoD security standards and the operation of assigned SCIF Conduct SCIF security inspections IAW current SCIF inspection guidance Perform random hand-carried item inspections for detection of classified material Conduct semi-annual security response exercises and quarterly alarm tests IAW current guidance for each SCIF Perform periodic Information Protection inspections on security containers and combination locks and conduct combination changes on cipher locks, and other in-use dial combination locks Prepare classified material for shipment and appropriate forms (AF Form 310, Document Receipt and Destruction Certificate) Review documents for proper security classification markings and provide guidance for proper overall classification issues Review, coordinate and provide advice on changes to Emergency Action Plans, SOPs, Fixed Facility Checklists (including required addendums), SCIF Operating Instructions (OI), and draft co-use agreements Review and coordinates Medical Device, Laptop, Photo, and Video Waivers, entering all assigned SCIFs Assist SCIF ISSO with Authorized Transfer Agent (ATA) (trusted agent) duties, transferring data to/from various networks Assists SCIF ISSO with destruction of classified and unclassified media (2-person integrity) Assists SCIF ISSO with virus scans for incoming classified and unclassified media Document and train SCI personnel on Classified Courier Responsibilities Train personnel on securing/alarming/opening/closing and end of day procedures for SCIF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 10 years’ experience in information system security development and management. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI clearance.
