Premier Bee Products is Hiring a Production Operator (Weekend Full Time) Near Sioux Falls, SD

Job Description

Premier Bee Products is setting an industry standard in bee hives. Honeybees are renowned for their role in providing high quality food and many other products used in health care. Our manufactured hive and products in the hive provide a home that is more natural and effective for the bees. We have a continued need to expand our business, which is why we are looking for a highly detailed and self-motivated team member.

Job Summary
This position is for Full Time operator hours from 6:00am - 6:00pm Friday through Sunday every weekend. The production operator runs an assembly machine and will be responsible for setup, operation and troubleshooting of equipment. We provide structured training to set you up for success as an operator.

Day-to-Day Tasks

  • Operate production equipment to produce quality plastic foundations and wooden frames
  • Perform quality checks on product to maintain high company standards
  • Work with team members to take care of complications as they arise
  • Change material as needed for daily production needs
  • Keep production facility clean and orderly at the end of every shift

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Self-motivated with ability to work alone and in small teams with good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions and warnings
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, mechanical aptitude and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of hand tools

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk and stand for entire shift
  • Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
  • Able to operate a forklift

Pay and Compensation

  • $21 -25 per hour depending on experience
  • Work 36 hours get paid for 40
