Description

Our organization is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide technical support to users, prioritizing and escalating helpdesk requests based on how critical they are to our business processes. Applicants must have at least an associate degree in information technology or computer science (or equivalent certifications) or have experience in a technical support role.

IT Support Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to users
• Troubleshoot network, software, and hardware issues
• Install and configure new software and hardware components
• Oversee application updates
• Monitor the network for potential threats

Requirements

IT Support Specialist Requirements and Qualifications:

• Associate degree in information technology or computer science (or equivalent certifications) or have experience in a technical support role. 
• Familiarity with relevant computer software and hardware programs
• Experience working with various operating systems (Windows, iOS, Android)
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapidly changing technology landscape
• Ability to handle multiple tasks

Physical Requirements:

• Able to sit, bend, and reach over head as part of daily office activities
• Able to hear effectively on phone
• Possess valid driver’s license
• Able to read documents with small print
• Able to use a keyboard
• Able to lift 50 pounds
