Your role at PFH:

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you are responsible for direct and supportive care to clients/patients. You will:

  • Participate as an active member of the treatment team by helping to identify client’s strengths, needs, abilities and preferences.
  • Ensure that all program expectations and rules are adhered to, and report behaviors to supervisor, which will assist with therapeutic interventions.
  • Adhere to all medication policies and work with trained nursing staff to ensure all medication policies are followed whether client/patient administered or PFH associate administered
  • Assist in admission/orientation process including obtaining vital signs if applicable, safety search of client/patient and belongings and collecting any urine/lab specimens for testing.
  • Assist and educate clients/patients in performing daily activities as needed
  • Provide client/patient transportation as needed.

  • High School education or equivalent and two (2) years responsible employment history
  • Exceptions to the qualifications listed may be made by the appropriate Executive Team member.
  • For St. Louis County Programs:
    • Bachelor’s Degree OR
    • MAADC I or II
