The IT and Marketing teams at ThompsonGas is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to enhance our email and text message marketing efforts. This role will primarily focus on engineering administrative units for email/text marketing campaigns and providing support for campaigns across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud automations, and strong project management/organizational skills. This role will be based at our Frederick, MD Corporate Office and will be a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement campaigns with automation solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to optimize email/text marketing campaigns.
• Design and execute the onboarding journey for customers, including creating logic for automated email sequences based on subscriber actions (e.g., subscription, interaction).
• Collaboratively strategize and deploy the onboarding process to ensure effective customer/lead engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create successful ThompsonGas Journeys.
• Provide operational support for Marketing Cloud initiatives and assist in implementing new features and functionalities.
• Work closely with business units to understand their marketing objectives and tailor Marketing Cloud solutions to meet their needs.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

• Create and manage automations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including subscriber management and segmentation.
• Implement API and Data connections to integrate new data sources and enhance subscriber insights.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to implement desired features and functionalities.
• Communicate effectively with leadership to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues.
• Maintain the Subscriber base, and identify any data discrepancies

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related degree
• Experience using Audience Builder and Contact Builder within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and industry trends.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification(s) preferred but not required.
