Position Focus

PRA's dynamic Technology organization is growing and looking to hire a bright and well-rounded IT Analyst. This individual will play an instrumental role in propelling PRA's future success and will get the chance to work with the latest technologies (Salesforce, NetSuite, O365, cutting edge infrastructure, etc.) at a company with an incredible culture. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Information Technology, the IT Analyst will provide technology support to the entire PRA organization (29 offices across the US remote workforce). This role will require a well-rounded technology professional with a solid fundamental knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will love being hands on and will possess the ability to successfully wear many IT hats.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support, diagnosing hardware and software malfunctions (including desktop support)
  • Problem solve IT issues as they arise (identifying and addressing root cause to eliminate the issues from reoccurring)
  • Participate in a variety of strategic and tactical technology projects (system enhancements, new solution roll outs, standardization efforts, infrastructure improvements, new office build outs, and other ad-hoc projects)
  • Troubleshoot problems that come into the IT Dept (answer calls, e-mails and communicate with PRA's internal client base)
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Replace hardware and install new software on clients' machines
  • Manage user provisioning (user set up, group set up, DL set up, etc.)
  • Build and nurture relationships with PRA's IT vendor partners
  • Order new IT equipment as needed
  • Identify and address inefficiencies, promoting IT solutions
  • Answer any IT related questions and help requests
  • Enforce IT policies and procedures as the Department evolves to improve efficiency
  • Recommend infrastructure improvements and system enhancements to continually improve our technology landscape
  • Respond to IT help requests in a timely manner
  • Work with every department at PRA to enable their success (technology should propel and not hinder business success)

Qualifications

  • Honesty, integrity, and strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions
  • An excellent attitude and a strong growth mentality
  • Bachelor's degree in IT (Computer Science or Information Systems)
  • 3 years of professional experience in Technology
  • Tech savvy with a good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Customer-oriented with excellent communications skills (verbal and written) - proficient in English
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • NetSuite, Salesforce, MS Office 365 experience is helpful
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft's full technology stack (Office apps, etc.)
  • Personal commitment to organizational excellence
