Job Overview

Facilitate company growth and expansion by reaching new customers and developing new business avenues for the company. Provide marketing and sales support for specific products, services, or targeted business areas. Research, analyze, prepare, implement, and maintain business development strategies for each focused market segment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Gathers data from internal and external sources regarding customer markets and conducts market analyses.
• Conducts intensive research pertaining to product/service development, distribution, and potential customers’ requirements.
• Assists management with developing new business strategies and identifying new business opportunities.
• Develops new and improved methods for marketing products/services through various new and traditional media, e.g., websites, social media, newsletters, marketing materials, exhibit displays, etc.
• Assists in proposal development at various levels: proposal management; writing specific proposal sections; participating in technical, management and pricing reviews.
• Prepares and presents capabilities briefings.
• Coordinates and attends trade shows.
• May be responsible for providing direction and oversight to lower-level positions.
• Carries out other duties as may be assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 20 Years’ Experience
• Good communication skills – a listener and good speaking skills.
• Must have ability to complete assigned tasks within assigned timelines.
• Must be detail oriented and able to verify correctness of work, both written and oral.
• Must be able to effectively utilize MS Office tools, e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must have ability to learn other job specific software programs identified as required, e.g., GovWin IQ.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with good command of the English language.
