Overview
The successful candidate (1-3 years experience) will assist with social media content creation and distribution across all channels. They will also perform writing and editing work, as needed, including developing brand content guidelines and editorial calendar. The social media manager will be accountable for marketing initiatives that drive web traffic and engagement. This is a entry to mid-level position with 1-3 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure brand copy needs and goals are met including timelines and budget
- Develop editorial governance for long form and social media content
- Ensure that precise brand content standards are both set and adhered to, consistently producing the highest quality work
- Make sure that a consistent stream of quality work is created for the brand
- Work with other departments to garner needed resources in order to complete projects
Must Haves:
- Experience managing brand content campaigns across social channels.
- Exceptionally talented writer and editor
- Thorough understanding of how content drives the customer journey from awareness to conversion
- Understand the sales and content marketing sourcing cycle
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, lean, and ever changing marketing environment
- The ability to problem solve with limited information and the presence of ambiguity
What would make you extra awesome:
- Proficiency across multiple CMS platforms such as Wordpress
- Proficiency with social media software
- Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Marketing Automation (Hubspot, Marketo, etc.) certification
