We have an opening for a Linux Subject Matter Expert Level 3, requiring a Bachelor's Degree & at least six (6) years experience in collection, processing, and distribution of the Linux technology. Ten years experience are required if candidate does not have a Bachelor's Degree.
Extensive Linux experience is a must, and RedHat Certification is desired but not required.

• Four additional years experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's
• LCAT Description: Translates Government requirements into project plans from configuration to deployment and sustainment for a particular IT subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems). Assists other project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking; telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis; software; life-cycle management; and modeling and simulation. SMEs are authorities on past and current technologies necessary for mission success in hostile areas.
