MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing engineering duties in planning and designing.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Create 3D CAD models & 2D manufacturing drawing for production and product design
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports
- Work with engineers or other personnel as a team to accomplish projects assigned in a timely fashion
- Research, design, evaluate new engineering & manufacturing technologies to cater increasing demands
- Strong mechanical aptitude to identify form, fit & function of assemblies and individual parts
- Support production, QC, and machinists for manufacturing needs
- Maintain and evaluate engineering equipment
Minimum Requirements:
- SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, Geomagic for modeling
- Experience in using Laser scanning equipment for Reverse Engineering is preferable
- (Faro or GOM blue light scanner)
- Proficient in MS office product
- Good time management and product management skills
- Strong understanding of engineering principle and Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to provide hands on approach to problem solving
- Steam turbines & Gas turbines experience is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
