Individual will serve as the Q.E.D. Production Manager for a U.S. Navy contract. Contract requirements will include Ship Change Documentation Support (SCD), Ship Checks, Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Configuration Management, Logistics Support, Ship Availability Planning, and In-service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support. The Q.E.D. Production Manager will report directly to the Q.E.D. Deputy Program Manager (DPM), and will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, planning, and managing ship availability production efforts
Job Requirements/skill sets: A minimum of 10-years of experience managing U.S. Navy depot level surface ship modernization and maintenance planning and estimating functions and/or availability work package development is required. Preferred experience includes management, supervisory, or production controller roles at Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair command, Regional Maintenance Center, Navy Central Planning Activity, Planning for Engineering and Repair Activity, and public or private shipyards at the tradesman or shop level. Experience as a Naval Supervising Authority Project Manager is also desirable. LCS experience or other Surface Combatant experience is preferred. Must have in-depth knowledge in the development and implementation of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
Education Requirements: High School Diploma
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
