The Cost Analyst will be responsible for forecasting variances, manufacturing spending and preparing analytical reports for management. The responsibilities include: 

• Develop analytical reports with FP&A to monitor drivers of the business
• Develop revenue, manufacturing cost and gross margin analyses and reports by using standard costs
• Forecast variance accounts and analyze actual variances
• Forecast manufacturing spending accounts using drivers
• Close revenue including customer rebates (Ship & Debit)
• Forecast R&D spending accounts
• Independently improve Oracle system processes and automate reconciliation and manual processes
• Ensure the SOX compliance controls are maintained with no deficiencies
• Assist with ad hoc revenue and cost projects and financial reports as needed

WORK REQUIREMENTS

• BA Accounting plus 5 years of related accounting experience
• Public Accounting a plus
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Semiconductor experience preferred
• Present strong problem solving, analytical, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload effectively and independently
• Present strong computer skills, such as an advanced working knowledge of Excel
• Hands on experience with an enterprise level financial software system, such as Oracle
• Showing competencies in taking initiative, working independently or as part of a team and meeting tight deadlines
