We are Poulin | Willey | Anastopoulo, one of South Carolina’s premier plaintiff personal injury law firms, and a major player in the national class-action arena. We are currently seeking multiple attorneys for entry-level positions as Associate Attorneys in Charleston and Columbia, SC; Charlotte, NC; and Macon, GA. The Associate Attorney position has clearly defined responsibilities and goals, along with a clearly defined path for advancement. Unlike many firms where young attorneys must work extremely long hours and can only hope that their effort will one day lead to advancement (usually only when the person above them retires or gets promoted), at Poulin | Willey | Anastopoulo there is a clearly defined path and timeline with specific and achievable goals and performance metrics, that leads to promotions, raises, and performance-based bonuses.
The starting salary for Associate Attorneys is $65,000 (plus benefits described below). Associate Attorneys who embrace our firm’s core values, participate in our internal continuing legal education programs, and energetically follow our firm’s processes, are promoted to Senior Associate Attorney after one year. The base pay for Senior Associate Attorneys is $75,000, and monthly bonuses push total yearly compensation over $100,000 for successful Senior Associate Attorneys. The path for advancement then continues to Trial Counsel, Senior Trial Counsel, Practice Group Leader, etc., and we will discuss this in more detail with successful applicants.
Our core values are the basis for all that we do. They are as follows:
If you share these values, then you will do well with us.
As an Associate Attorney, you will spend the majority of your time on the phone with clients and insurance adjusters negotiating settlements of personal injury claims. If you are reluctant to talk on the phone, then this is not the job for you. Most of the remainder of your time will be spent participating in our own internal continuing legal education programs, that will teach you the legal and practical nuances of personal injury work. You do not need to have any personal injury experience or knowledge to get started – we will teach you that part. What you do need to have is a shared belief in our core values, a law license (NC, SC, or GA)*, a strong work ethic, a burning desire to grow professionally, self-discipline, good organizational skills, and a commitment to yourself and your clients to pick up the phone each day and get things done. If that’s you, then we would love to hear from you.
In addition to the above, other benefits of working with Poulin | Willey | Anastopoulo include the following:
with multiple monitors, iPad, etc. All our information technology is replaced every three
Blue Cross Blue Shield Bronze plan or Gold plan, and the firm will contribute $250 or $270 per month respectively. Additionally, you will
be given $20 per month to put towards supplemental benefits (including medical, dental, vision, life, accident, and short-term disability).
In light of the above, if you think you would be a good fit here at Poulin | Willey | Anastopoulo, click the link below to apply, and we will be in touch regarding next steps.
We look forward to hearing from you.

*Note: Your law license does not need to be from the same state as the office you would like to work in. For example, it’s completely okay for a Georgia lawyer to work out of the Charlotte, NC office, or for a NC lawyer to work from Charleston, SC.
