POTOMAC MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS, LLC is Hiring a Clinical Psychologist Near Denver, CO

 Doctoral level clinical psychologists serve as behavioral science subject matter experts and the agency is always their client. They provide psychological consultation, develop and deliver trainings, briefings and workshops, conduct empirical research and surveys, and engage in internal and external working groups and taskforces. They respond to Agency-wide needs requiring behavioral science subject matter expertise. They conduct psychological evaluations to assess the psychological suitability of applicants/employees to possess security clearances and encumber special assignments; support counterintelligence and insider threat initiatives; perform risk/threat assessments; confer regarding employees demonstrating concerning behaviors; and, provide professional development and performance enhancement programming and talent management guidance. They synthesize psychological theory, empirical findings, and practical techniques to ensure all deliverables meet professional standards. Their main business areas include: Personnel Security and Counterintelligence Consultation; Insider Threat Mitigation and Suicide Risk and Violence Threat Assessment; Management Advising and Consulting (e.g., both Behavioral and Clinical Presentations, organizational development); NGA Personnel and Detailee Special Assignment Selection; Psychological Evaluation and Mitigation; Empirical Research and Evaluation ; Behavioral Science Training and Interagency Behavioral Science/National Security Working Groups.
MUST HAVE TS OR TS/SCI CLEARANCE 
EDUCATION :

  • Must hold a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA)
  • Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice Psychology in the United States (including US territories) or be a duly qualified licensed mental health provider
  • Maintain Professional Licensure through Continuing Education Units (CEUs) 
Effective interviewing skills, excellent writing skills and superior customer service skills. Skilled in providing psychological consultation and in conducting direct and indirect assessment. Competently administers and interprets a wide-range of psychological tests (to include cognitive and personality measures). Completes all requisite documentation in a timely manner consistent with clinical and NGA standards. Performs clinical consultation functions at an expert level in either all or most of the following areas: personnel security; insider threat; counterintelligence; law enforcement; suicide and violence risk assessments; special assignment selection and responds to agency–wide needs regarding psychological services subject matter expertise. Produces timely, high-quality reports that include useful recommendations. Engages in on-site training, management consultation and liaison with NGA in the Washington DC metro area and at other NGA sites throughout the country and world; travels according to mission requirements. Delivers informational and technical trainings, briefings and workshops tailored to the needs of the target audience. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills and operates effectively within a teamwork environment
