Poteet Accounting Group is Hiring a Remote Part-time Bookkeeper
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounting and payroll. The successful candidate will have a portfolio of successful clients and be able to comfortably handle multiple activities at once. The person who fills this position will not only boost our productivity, but will also be a valued member of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Record business transactions in Quickbooks Online and Desktop versions.
- Monitor and maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile with bank statements.
- Assist in or start bookkeeping procedures.
- Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable duties.
- Monitor inventory levels and record purchases of inventory.
- Keep financial records confidential, including transaction data and related information.
- Respond to inquiries regarding financial status and information.
- Organize financial records and prepare reports.
- Correct errors according to the appropriate accounting procedure.
- Maintain other duties as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
