Work with the QC Supervisor and Plant Manager to maintain Quality Control processes and documentation. Identify opportunities for improvement in the Quality Control department as well as any other departments that Quality Control interacts with.

Factory Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm

1. Perform day to day inspections on parts produced in Press, Assembly and Plating

2. Perform inspection on incoming items (items from vendor taping, plating, etc.)

3. Perform incoming inspection on purchased items

4. Write and track NSM’s and IRN’s (improve process where needed)

1. Monitor and improve throughput in the QC department

2. Introduce, track and publish metrics that drive efficiency within the inspection process

3. Track and publish scrap data (pieces, dollars, quantities and rates)

4. Establish benchmarks and goals for continuous improvement within the department

This type of manufacturing, termed electronic packaging and production, is considered a light industry and usually involves an end product based upon an electronic or electrical design, with the end product designed to meet requirements in industries such as appliance manufacturing, automotive electronics, communications, computers, consumer electronics, electronic components, industrial controls, medical electronics and office and business equipment.
