Medical Office Manager
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of a medical office, ensuring efficient and effective workflow
- Manage and coordinate administrative staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations
- Monitor and manage patient scheduling, ensuring optimal utilization of resources
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and timely delivery of care
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Coordinate billing and insurance processes, including verification, claims submission, and payment reconciliation
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure compliance
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office management role is preferred
- Familiarity with managed care and utilization management processes is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
