PosiGen is Hiring a Site Surveyor Near Ewing, NJ

At PosiGen, we are passionate about providing money saving solar and energy efficiency solutions for people of all income levels. We are seeking an equally passionate Site Surveyor to verify the feasibility of residential solar installations through onsite and drone inspections.

Essential Job Functions

  • Measure existing roof dimensions, and verify array layouts utilizing drone technology
  • Document electrical configuration of home, and raise awareness to existing issues
  • Measure roof structure supports
  • Work from heights, attics, and basements
  • Set up ladder system to provide safe access to roofs
  • Use application-based platform to capture photos and upload to project management database
  • Manage flight logs and preplanning of drone flight patterns utilizing drone software package
  • Able to obtain FAA LAANC when required to pilot drone in restricted air spaces

 Education / Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Prior work experience working on roofs and/or with drones
  • Willing and able to work from ladders/heights or working in confined spaces such as crawl spaces or attics, under mobile homes
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
