Robert Half is working with a fast-growing, dynamic team looking for a Financial Analyst who will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This role is with a company in the Non-Profit industry. This Financial Analyst role, which is a long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity, is based in the New Orleans, Louisiana, area. The Financial Analyst will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. In this position, you will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management.Key responsibilities- Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance- Work with the Accounting group to lead the monthly and quarterly close process- Analyze annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations and supply information to business partners to inform decision making- Uncover the influencing factors that are driving performance and trends- Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide decision making support- Power monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required- Contribute to weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting- Compile and supervise forecasting reports- Work closely with business partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans- Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization- Flexible candidate that can organize a vast amount of information while managing high expectations
