General Position Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of POM projects including coordination of people and processes to ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
· Determine and define project scope and objectives
· Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
· Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule and budget
· Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
· Report and escalate any issues to management as needed
Secondary Functions·:
As assigned by supervisor
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field and 5 years of project management experience or
· 5 years Construction Supervisor experience and 5 years Project Manager experience
Preferred Skills:
· Experienced in project management software tools, methodologies and best practices including Procore Construction Management Software
· Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel and MS Project
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Conditions:
The position exists in a small professional office environment where all staff members are expected to assist one another to complete projects. The pace is sometimes hectic, with multiple deadlines to meet.

Located in Boardman, Oregon, the Port of Morrow is Oregons second largest port. Four industrial parks offer shovel-ready sites ranging from 1 to 2,000 acres in size. The location is a cost-effective alternative to larger metropolitan areas and is ideally positioned at the intersection of all major modes of transportation river, road, rail, and air. Although the Port has a reputation as a food processing center, industry within the Port is diverse. The Port of Morrow has a variety of financing packages to support any development project. Industrial Development Revenue Bonds for projects over $...1 million may be used to finance buildings and equipment. Smaller loan funds are available through the state-wide Port Revolving Loan Fund. Additional tax-breaks and benefits are made possible as part of the Columbia River Enterprise Zone. Utilities within the port are state-of-the-art. Clean water is available from a series of deep wells and augmented by a link with the City of Boardmans municipal system. Port maintained farm land near the Boardman and East Beach Industrial Parks provide an efficient means of reusing food processing wastewater, which serves dual purpose as a great fertilizer for crops. Local electric cooperatives provide the most economical power in the country. All industrial parks have fiber optic connections for fast, reliable data services. Transportation at the Port of Morrow is available to suit any purpose, whether shipping by barge on the Columbia River, by rail on the Union Pacific mainline, or by truck via the Interstate freeway. The Tidewater Terminal is the largest container terminal upriver of Portland. Northwest Container Services loads containers onto rail cars for shipment. The industrial parks at the Port offer easy access to Interstate 84 and 82. The Boardman Airport has a 4,200 runway and is used regularly for corporate jets and general aviation aircraft.
