Job Summary:
The second shift production operator is responsible to operate equipment on the Production lines and follow all safety rules and quality procedures. Hours: 3:45pm-2:15am. with availability on the weekends and ability to work overtime. This role will interface with Maintenance and other Production team members. Starting pay: $17.55/hour with room for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all employee safety and food safety rules
- Follow GMPs in the Production area and immediately report any nonconformance GMP concerns to your supervisor
- Monitor product quality and inform QC of any deviations from the standard
- Operate assigned equipment such as packer or labeler
- Assist in troubleshooting of the machines when they are not running properly
- Perform housekeeping within your area
- Focus on minimizing waste of raw material, boxes, bottles, and finished product
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Trade school certification or high school diploma
- Forklift experience a plus but not required
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery
- Ability to follow written procedure
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Operators are required to have viable transportation
- Strong attendance
