Pomp’s Tire Service has an immediate opening for a Store Manager. This manager will be responsible for the overall store performance, financial and operational, by overseeing and being accountable for the operation of the store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through expense control. Job Responsibilities: Maximizing shop quality and productivity to meet monthly/annual goals Conducting regular inventories Analyzing problems and working out solutions for the customer Managing location staff, including hiring and discipline Maintaining a safe and clean store Additional tasks as assigned Job Requirements: 3 or more years management experience required 5 or more years tire sales/service (or related experience) strongly preferred Knowledge of tires and Sales/Service is a must Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new software Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain driving record to Pomp’s standards Knowledge of MaddenCo software system preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and business information Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with frequent lifts of 30-50 pounds Work is primarily indoors with occasional outdoor work Some exposure to dust, fumes, and noise from tires and tools; safety equipment will be provided as needed We offer competitive pay and a great benefits package.
