Pomp’s Tire Service has an immediate opening for a Store Manager. This manager will be responsible for the overall store performance, financial and operational, by overseeing and being accountable for the operation of the store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through expense control. With stores and services offered throughout the Midwest, Pomp's offers a variety of unique opportunities to exercise your skills in the tire and services industry. Job Responsibilities:Maximizing shop quality and productivity to meet monthly/annual goalsConducting regular inventoriesAnalyzing problems and working out solutions for the customerManaging location staff, including hiring and disciplineMaintaining a safe and clean storeAdditional tasks as assigned Job Requirements:3 or more years management experience required5 or more years tire sales/service (or related experience) strongly preferredKnowledge of tires and Sales/Service is a mustWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekendsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new softwareExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to handle multiple tasksValid driver’s license and ability to maintain driving record to Pomp’s standardsKnowledge of MaddenCo software system preferredAbility to maintain confidentiality of personal and business informationAbility to work independently with minimal supervision Physical Demands:Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with frequent lifts of 30-50 pounds Work is primarily indoors with occasional outdoor work Some exposure to dust, fumes, and noise from tires and tools; safety equipment will be provided as needed We offer competitive pay and a great benefits package.
