SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop programs base on engineering drawings
- Analyze and improve existing programs for efficiency
- Adjust machine cutting paths, speed rates, and feed rates
- Consider tools required for materials and product features
- Determine tool sequence
- Provide production support
- Perform first run set up for new products, ensuring first piece conformance
- Communicate internally to ensure the manufacturability of products
- Discuss and resolve problems with existing programs
- Ability to analyze and improve machining processes
- Create set up sheets for products
- Other work-related tasks as required
- Work in a safe manner.

- Must have strong understanding of good machining practices
- Strong math skills (algebra and trigonometry)
- Mechanically inclined
- Blueprint reading with GD&T
- Good attention to detail
- While performing the duties of this job, the employees is regularly required to sit, stand, climb, walk, use hands, and talk and hear for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day.
- Able to lift and/or move 25 to 50 lbs. periodically during the day.
PEOPLE
- Supervised by department supervisor/leader regarding performance, priorities and quality.
- Ability to work and communicate with other individuals within the department.
- Follow all Company rules.
