Overview
Up North Plastics is currently seeking a Production Supervisor due to our expansion at our Cottage Grove location on our night shift. As one of the largest film manufacturers in the world, Up North Plastics produces several lines of polyethylene products including retail trash bags, construction and agricultural films. Dedicated to providing the highest quality polyethylene products and processes, our continually expanding team of chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial and process engineers are the building blocks for future growth and expansion. We also maintain one of the most sophisticated on-site labs in the plastics industry to assist with quality assurance and product development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- The ability to work a 12 hour shift
- Excellent communication skills.
- The aptitude and desire to grow with an expanding company.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing field and/or plastics industry is a plus
- Previous experience in a supervisor role is a plus

Responsibilities
Supervisors at Up North Plastics are responsible for supporting the management staff, training and developing subordinates, recommending operational improvements and meeting operational objectives. The individual in this role must have the ability to participate in a team environment.
