Property Manager for Luxury Mixed-Use Office/Residential Building in Washington DC

Polinger Company is seeking a Property Manager for 2401 Pennsylvania Avenue located in DC’s exciting West End. The property consists of 40 luxury rental apartments, 62,000 square feet of office space and first floor retail. The ideal candidate will have a background in high end rental apartment management and leasing. Experience in commercial management is preferred although not required and the right candidate will receive training if necessary on the commercial side. Prior experience with building renovations is also a plus. This is a high profile building with institutional ownership. The successful candidate will be a key team member in running and renovating this fantastic asset. 

Responsibilities

Supervise staff, increase rent potential, review of financial reports, and insure compliance with local/federal laws and codes. Maintain professional relationships with tenants of commercial and residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in property management in a supervisory capacity. (An additional three years of experience maybe substituted for the degree requirement.)
• Proficiency with computer programs to include Word, Excel and Outlook.

Physical abilities/Working Conditions:

• Prolonged walking and standing involved in this position.
