Recruitment Manager – Volunteer Position (This is a NON-PAID opportunity that will help you learn and grow in your career)

PMI-SFBAC, an all-volunteer chapter, is one of the largest and longest running chapters of the foremost resource for management in the world - PMI. Our San Francisco Chapter is revolutionizing Project and Program Management by integrating next gen concepts into our solid and respected foundation. We help professionals grow and enrich their lives in a fun, collaborative, community environment.

Our Volunteer Management team is on the front lines in this challenge.We bring leaders together and help them collaborate on project and program initiatives in an agile environment.We need a people leader who is skilled at listening to the concerns and needs of highly skilled team leads and candidates.

We are looking for a dedicated recruiter to join our Volunteer Management team in identifying hiring needs and filling job openings. The responsibilities of a recruiter include identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media and conducting interviews.

Specifically, the responsibilities for Recruitment Manager include:

  • Meet with Team Leads to identify hiring needs with list of requirements for the position
  • Attract suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
  • Conduct interviews and sort through applicants to fill open positions.
  • Assess applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
  • Promote PMI-SFBAC’s reputation and attractiveness as a leader in Project and Program Management.
  • Provide recruitment reports to team leads.

Basic Requirements:

  • Understanding of end-to-end recruitment process.
  • 5 years people management experience.
  • Exceptional soft skills.
