We're hiring for a Concierge!

JOB SUMMARY The Concierge will receives callers at establishment, determines nature of business, and directs callers to destination. Provides telephone services for residents and staff of Plymouth Place by performing the following duties when to ask for input and help; excellent responsiveness and quick follow-up to requests are key.

  • Answers incoming calls, directs calls or take messages.
  • Maintain Information regarding In/Out status for directors and office staff.
  • Provide resident wake up calls, as requested.
  • Report telephone and elevator equipment repair problems as appropriate.
  • Monitor Simplex fire panel for emergency situations.
  • Follow procedures to report and provide assistance in emergency or disaster situations.
  • Maintain radio control and contact with security and maintenance staff.
  • Initiates internal paging system as requested.
  • Greet resident, guests, visitors and vendors and assist them, as needed. Maintain daily logs
  • for residents (in/out) and visitors sign-in.
  • Manages closed circuit monitor and intercom to monitor employee entrance.
  • Maintain daily logs for: guest rooms, taxi reservations, vacation list, assignment of keys and knob locks, etc.
  • Maintain resident status change forms and death notices, and notify staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain emergency information about residents and employees.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all Plymouth Place policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
  • Attends in-service and education programs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work with scheduling programs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, families, and employees.
  • Experienced in Concierge/High volume needed
  • Must be vaccinated from COVID-19

SCHEDULE:

  • Shift: Every Weekend; Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3pm- 11:30 pm

KNOWLEDGE; SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience as Concierge with good organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of front office procedures and best practices
  • Knowledge of quality standards
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
