Full Time Opportunity! $1500 Sign-On Bonus!
Work Schedule - Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm, Weekend Rotation
Duties/Responsibilities
- Clean assigned area, as directed.
- Maintain furniture in assigned areas in the pre-determined pattern.
- Use proper chemicals in various duties as instructed by supervisor.
- Report any unsafe conditions or items in need of repair.
- Keep all dispensers stocked with toilet tissue, paper towels, and soap, as necessary.
- Follow established cleaning procedures as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Re-stock housekeeping cart at the end of the day with proper linens, chemicals, or supplies as job dictates.
- Clean floors with proper equipment, including vacuum sweepers, dust mops, damp mops, or sponge mops as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Empty and re-line all trash receptacles in assigned areas.
- Make beds according to established policies and procedures. Handle soiled linen as instructed by supervisor.
- Operate washers and dryers as instructed.
- Fold, stack, hang, and/or deliver clean linens.
- Pick up soiled linens as instructed.
- Follow supervisory guidelines and safety rules for proper usage of equipment.
- Use proper chemicals in specified amounts for hand fed machines, following correct formulas for various types of linens processed.
- Report any equipment malfunction to the supervisor in charge.
- Follow established policy and procedure for stain treatment of linens.
- Assist in maintaining the laundry in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
- Report any unsafe conditions or items in need of repair.
- Handle soiled linen in a manner that minimizes the presence of airborne contaminants.
- Wear protective clothing (gown and/or gloves) when handling soiled or contaminated linen.
- Advise supervisor of needed chemicals and/or supplies.
- Keep various records as instructed by the Housekeeping Manager or the Director of Environmental Services.
