Role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute across the full range of legal matters and continue to develop the hands-on legal skills needed to support a fast-growing tech company. Plus is at the forefront of autonomous driving as the only autonomous trucking company to have a commercial product on the road today. Reporting to the General Counsel Lynn Miller, you will be a key member of the legal group who will partner with Plus executives, engineers and outside counsel in areas such as:
- Commercial contracts of all types (e.g., vendor/supply, joint development, licensing, leasing, consulting, NDA’s).
- Corporate governance matters.
- Data security and privacy.
- Compliance.
- Employment law.
- Advise company leadership and cross-functional teams throughout the organization on complex legal issues and risks and guide to successful resolution.
- Create and improve legal processes that can scale with our rapid growth.
Requirements
- 4 or more years at a top tier law firm or company.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: commercial contracts, securities/corporate governance, data security, privacy, employment law.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Compensation and title commensurate with level of experience.
