The primary purpose of the Technical Manager is to improve and maintain all of the metallurgical, technical, and quality requirements and Improve the productivity and recovery.
Key Accountabilities:
• Quality customer satisfaction
• Continuous improvement for product quality and process
• Casting and scalping quality systems requirement
• Technical leader for Casting and Scalping Key accountabilities
• Customers claim management
• Improve Casting and Scalping recovery
• Improve internal quality like sonic defects or porosities to support the plate path quality requirement
• Improve surface quality of the ingots and as scalped surface to support the coil path quality requirement
• Accountable for project tracking and report out for quality KPI
• Define and lead project with the Casting/BPC team – Continuous improvement to achieve the Casting Best Practice
• Provide training and accurate document for the operators
• Responsible for the quality qualification of a new equipment including the MOC process
• Lead projects to improve Casting and Scalping capacity/productivity
• Accountable for the quality systems requirement for the Casting and Scalping areas APU (internal audits, equipment calibration, CAR, PFMEA, external audits…)
• Development of SPC in the Casting and Scalping areas
• Support Plate/Coil New Product Development 
Skills Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent engineering field
• 5 Years’ Experience in Manufacturing Facility
