Pleasant View Open Position: Full Time Life Enrichment Assistant

• Works every other Saturday, gets day off during week!

Looking for someone that is enthusiastic, up-beat individual to lead group activities, provide one-on-one visits with special needs and/or developmentally challenged residents in a skilled nursing setting.

Successful candidates should have a basic understanding of caring for the elderly and those with special needs; have a basic understanding of dementia and approaches in caring for persons with dementia, and a basic understanding of what to do when a resident act in a combative, aggressive or difficult manner.

Successful candidate must exhibit good writing skills, attend in-service training and continuing education workshops, is vigilant in ensuring resident safety and well-being, and keeps professional matters confidential.

LE Assistants work as a team and report to Life Enrichment Supervisor.

Rate Range: $14.06-$14.96 based on experience. $2.00 shift differential on the weekends.
