Overview

Our office is growing under new leadership and we are looking for someone to join our office!! The ideal candidate will have dental experience, and be knowledgeable with insurance and finances. We value good communication skills, positivity, taking initiative and organizational skills. Previous dental experience is not essential; however, we believe you should be people-oriented and self-motivated. We think you will find our quality-oriented office an exciting and rewarding experience. We have high expectations for all employees, but make sure to give you the tools and training necessary to succeed!

Responsibilities

• Help verify insurance for new patients
• Verify insurance information for patients that have a change in insurance plans and/or employer
• Submit Insurnace Claims
  • When patients are currently in treatment and have a change in insurance - Fax or mail claim, letter, and prior carrier/patient account information to the new insurance company; evaluate the patient's case and determine payment plan

Follow up on Insurance Claims

• Post insurance payments
• Reallocate insurance funds when needed
• Handle all insurance refunds
• Sort all insurance EOBs that are sent to office
• Assist with financing issues for patients

Qualifications

• Dental office or Orthodontist experience verifying and processing dental insurance claims and payments
• Dental/healthcare financing experience
