Job Description
We are looking for Experienced Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment in our NY Hotel. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior as well as providing a safe place for guests of hotel and patrons of restaurant and rooftop Bar lounge. This location is Chic, Trendy Upscale location looking for the right candidates to fill multiple tours. Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays with holiday pay a must. Room for advancement and growth with a young vibrant company looking to grow and expand.

The right candidate must be well-trained, the ability to deal with multiple situations in fast paced environment. Dealing with perpetrators, and guest in a manner relative to situation. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation.
The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

************Responsibilities************
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
Monitor and authorize entrance of people in the property.
Secure all exits, doors and facility.
Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation and delegating.
Provide assistance to people in need.
Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to all legal state and federal protocols before arrival of authorities.
Submit checklist of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences, reports when necessary.
Requirements
Proven experience as security officer.
Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
Familiarity with report writing
Excellent observation skills, ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
Trained in First Aid a Plus but not required.
Registered as a security officer in State of NY, with all licensing and in good standing.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
