Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania is Hiring a Community Engagement Manager Near Philadelphia, PA

Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania is the local affiliate of the country’s leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider. Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania operates 10 health centers throughout Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Nationwide, Planned Parenthood affiliates operate more than 600 health centers, providing medical services and sexuality education for millions of individuals (adults and teens) each year. We also work with allies worldwide to ensure that all people have the right and the means to meet their sexual and reproductive health care needs.The position of Community Engagement Manager is a full-time, 35 hour/week, benefits-eligible, exempt hybrid position working remotely and from our Center city Philadelphia location as needed. The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 and dependent upon experience and training. Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing & Brand, the Community Engagement Manager supports organizational growth by securing relationships with diverse communities, referring providers and community-based organizations, and key constituents. This position will assist Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) in achieving strategic growth through positive referral relationships and effective partnerships with external entities within PPSP’s 4-county service area; including, community members, referring providers, and their organizations as well as other health sector groups. The Community Engagement Manager will work to assure that patients, communities and health sector groups are well-informed regarding sexual and reproductive health and the preventive and educational services available at PPSP. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or a related field with 5 years professional experience in customer service and 3-5 years of marketing and customer experience in a health care and/or non-profit setting, with a track record of developing, implementing, and evaluating successful marketing plans. Must possess demonstrated ability to maintain a customer-centric service approach and exhibit strong attention to detail and follow-up with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; must possess excellent organization skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong program and project management skills, strong interpersonal, time-management, and problem-solving skills; be self-motivated and able to work independently with ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external partners; must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office 365 Software; must be able to travel throughout the four-county service area, and possess a demonstrated dedication to Planned Parenthood’s mission, vision and values.
