DGC, a division of PKF O’Connor Davies, has an exciting career opportunity in our Office Services Department for a Billing Specialist in either our Woburn or Boston office.

The primary responsibility will be to work in various areas of Finance as needed, including billing processing, and other projects and reporting supporting the monthly financial close.

Essential Duties

Billing:

• Analyzing, preparing, and processing work in progress and billings to ensure that all client invoices are billed accurately, consistently within client requirements and on a timely basis
• Working closely with professional staff and obtain appropriate billing approval
• Researching and resolving billing issues with external and internal clients
• Following up with clients regarding past due balances

Finance:

• Assistance with various analysis and reports supporting the monthly financial close, accounts receivable reporting, and client billing analysis

Qualifications

• Knowledge of services firm billing and collections issues and procedures a plus
• Strong technical skills, MS Excel, and reporting software
• General knowledge in finance and/or accounting
• Strong organization skills and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Clear written and oral communications skills
• Minimum 2 years in a professional services firm a plus
