Summary: This position is key within our manufacturing facility which produces quality food products for our customers shift differential $1.50 and hour for hours work during 6pm to 6am *Must be flexible for overtime and weekend work Duties and Responsibilities: * Move materials around as needed to complete the main function (i.e., stacking, mixing, packing, etc. * Operate equipment as necessary to accomplish tasks and meet targets * Evaluating hazards, verification of measures and procedures that should be taken to achieve a safe work environment * Ensuring daily adherence to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Regulations Minimum Job Requirements: Education/Certifications: * High School diploma or equivalent Experience: * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Abilities: * Ability to work in a fast paced environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively train others * Must be able to read work documents in English * Strong focus on safety * Good understanding of plant quality requirements * Good working knowledge of GMP’s * Good attendance and work history * Strong team mentality Working Conditions and Physical Effort: * Work involves daily exposure to elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise * Work environment involves daily exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards * Regular exposure to food products and food allergens * Position requires the ability to stand; walking around office and plant; lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds; utilizing fine dexterity and reaching; kneeling, crawling and twisting to inspect equipment.
