Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

This Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for providing an excellent customer experience in digital marketing. This person is responsible for developing search engine marketing and paid social media strategy and content writing, paid ad execution, maintenance, analysis, and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Job Duties/Competencies:

  • Research, development, execution, optimization, and analysis of paid social and search engine marketing campaigns across multiple ad accounts and platforms such as Google Ads, Meta/Instagram Ads, Next Door Ads, and LinkedIn’s Campaign Manager.
  • Ability to set up and analyze conversion tracking for paid ad campaigns using tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
  • Identify, develop, and evaluate social media and search engine marketing strategies, based on knowledge of established objectives, market characteristics, and cost factors, for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Build and maintain Pivot’s and our client's social media presence through strategy, content creation, and publication of organic social efforts.
  • Conduct social media and/or search engine marketing audits and provide strategic recommendations on clients’ social strategy and presence.
  • Maintain an understanding of the emerging digital trends as it relates to social media and/or search engine marketing effectiveness.
  • Development of educational resources for the Pivot team.
  • Creative brainstorming and strategy development.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years professional paid social media and/or Google Ad experience required.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, including their respective strengths and demographics (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.).
  • Ability to navigate both the creative and analytical sides of social media content development and publication.
  • Experience working with multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Excellence in grammar and professional writing skills are a must.
  • Must be able to work accurately with great attention to detail.
  • Must be a good communicator, working with other departments responsible for providing services
  • Experience with non-profits a plus.
  • Ability to communicate a clear message.
  • Ability to encourage and persuade clients to try something new.
  • Ability to “sell” your ideas.
  • Present yourself as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Strength and confidence in your presentation skills.

Computer Skills Preferred:

Meta Business Manager, Meta Ad Manager, Meta Event Manager (for Pixel implementation), Sprout Social, Dash This, Microsoft Office Products, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Slack and other communication tools.

Supervisory Responsibilities

There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel up to 15%, though less than that is anticipated.
