About the role

We are looking for an Enterprise Account Executive with experience and relationships in the finance, legal and/or professional services sectors to win new clients. This is a key role in the next phase of our growth and the right candidate will be ready to work autonomously to establish new customer relationships. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving the sales process with new customers, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our product and GTM strategy meet the needs of our market. 

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a broad range of sales activities across targeted segments, verticals and channels.
  • Build relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across targeted segments, verticals and channels.
  • Effectively communicate Pitchly’s value proposition and lead strategic partnership conversations with executive leadership at large global organizations.
  • Create and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations with support from other team members.
  • Educate prospects on the value and use cases associated with Pitchly.
  • Drive revenue and growth through proactive and creative outreach to targeted segments, verticals, and channels.
  • Travel and get on-site with key prospects and customers to conduct meetings.
  • Represent Pitchly at tradeshows and other industry events as needed.
  • Work collaboratively across all business units to define sales initiatives that drive customer acquisition and expansion.
  • Work collaboratively with the SDR team to enhance the customer journey and move new opportunities through the pipeline to close.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, collecting feedback and providing insight to drive the continuous improvement of the Pitchly product.
  • Work across the sales technology stack to capitalize on all available opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
  • Analyze and utilize relevant data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and contact records in the CRM.
  • Manage your activity to achieve a quarterly sales quota.

About you

  • 5-10 years of relevant and exceptional sales experience in the legal, accounting or investment banking industries. 
  • Strong experience with data-focused products, legal tech, professional services tech, CRM, database SaaS, and/or B2B subscription SaaS software.
  • Experience working for a SaaS company in a startup/growth environment.
  • Proven track record of closing experience selling B2B SaaS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field.
  • Strong experience in building customer relationships and customer-centric sales activities.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work across numerous business units.
  • Self-directed with the ability to make strategic and complex decisions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current and emerging sales technologies and trends.

Work Location

While officially headquartered in Des Moines, IA, all our staff is decentralized by design. Our nationwide team has been efficiently growing Pitchly using a collaborative WFH model. We connect using web meetings, Slack, virtual employee meetings and offsite team retreats.
