About the Role:
The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company’s growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and supporting client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for our Employer Brand, sharing creative and marketing efforts to aid in recruiting, employee engagement and internal communications.
This Designer role, in collaboration with a team of designers, copywriters, strategists, multimedia professionals and project managers, will report to the Sr. Design Manager, who reports to the Creative Director. This role will support the design needs of a variety of marketing functions and contribute to the visual branding of a fast-paced and rapidly growing company here at PitchBook. Day to day will include a mix of different creative executions to deliver impactful marketing campaigns, branding concepts, digital designs, event graphics (physical and digital) and website design.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Design content for a variety of placements, while acting as a brand steward to ensure our creative matches our brand voice, tone and equities
• Create business-related materials, including infographics, brochures, sell sheets, event signage & assets, logos, websites, landing pages and mobile web projects
• Collaborate with project managers, copywriters, marketing managers, videography and other internal stakeholders to develop strategy and messaging
• Execute on creative vision alongside the team throughout the creative process, creating concepts, mood boards and final deliverables
• Deliver projects in a timely fashion, with a focus on priorities and what matters most
• Monitor and track channel metrics to set goals and continuously improve our marketing execution
• Participate in creative ideations and meetings to build content calendars, campaigns and key messaging
• Develop best practices for the design of specific channels and placements
• Work and communicate effectively across the organization
• Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
• Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required4-6 years of experience in a graphic design or similar role
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and knowledgeable in basic HTML, CSS and Figma
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Strong skills and knowledge of typography
• Experience working collaboratively within a creative team
• Excellent oral and written communicator
• Ability to explain and discuss concepts, revisions and feedback with clients, managers and creative team
• Knows how to interpret data points and trends and present them in a visually pleasing and intriguing way
• Employ available industry research to build a deep understanding of PitchBook’s product suite and how it benefits various customer segments
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
• Passion for continuous learning and pushing boundaries Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
