Location: Claremont, CA Job Posting Title: Technical Systems Analyst Job Details and Requirement: GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Technical Systems Analyst provides collaborative support and technical expertise to solve complex issues. As a member of the technical support team, the Technical Systems Analyst will assist with the maintenance and strategic advancement of academic related information systems. The Technical Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for updating academic records, data integrity, and enrollment reporting. Reporting to the Registrar, the position works with the Registrar team to provide timely and accurate services for general office processing and assisting with academic policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of enrollment and graduation data to the National Student Clearinghouse. Process updates to academic records related to enrollment and graduation. Work with curriculum and records team for the annual update and maintenance of the degree audit systems and records. Responsible for creation and processing of data error reports as necessary. Assist technical support team with ad hic data report requests. Assist with technology implementation and upgrades, including user testing. Provide technical assistance to the office and constituents; identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to academic records. Assist with general office functions including, but not limited to, registration, transcripts, verifications, grades, transfer credit, and graduation. Provide customer service for in-person, phone, and email inquiries. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The individual must possess knowledge, skills and ability to be able to successfully perform the essential functions of the position or be able to explain or demonstrate how the essential functions will be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. Willingness to be cross trained in all functional aspects of the Registrar’s Office. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural setting. Ability to prioritize ongoing competing short- and long-term deadlines. Must be team-oriented with ability to work independently, maintain flexibility and exercise sound judgment. Ability to effectively learn, utilize, and implement online systems and databases required for information sharing and record keeping among university officials. Proficient in software applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Familiarity with applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Smartsheet is desirable. Basic Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree; or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. At least two years of increasingly responsible related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a registrar’s office is highly desirable. Licenses/Certifications: Must have valid driver’s license and a driving record insurable under the College’s General Liability policy. Must be able to drive self to/from nearby off campus locations. Supervisory Responsibility: None. Work Model: This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week for 12 months per year. The regular hours for this position will be scheduled between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. These hours may vary due to needs of the College or department.
