As a Pison Quality Assurance Specialist you will be responsible for QA and testing of customer facing deliverables, performing routine inspections and quality checks, and documenting new and existing procedures. You will also be responsible for having clear and in depth knowledge of our contract space and be able to draw upon that knowledge to help demo or present applications and functionality to stakeholders. All of this work will ensure high quality of Pison Products and deliverables.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Establish an automated foundation for performance and parody testing
• Create new automation suites executing automated scripts for our applications 
• Impact design decisions from a quality perspective
• Analyze testing needs and develop testing strategies and plans 
• Work with data pipelines and databases
• Improve test coverage and identify test areas that may be lacking
• Generate test reports/results and share critical findings to engineering teams

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Well versed in testing and development life cycles
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage your own time
• Technical problem solving skills
• Understanding of manual testing practices
• Experience testing REST based APIs
• Highly organized and detail oriented with thorough follow up skills
• Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate with external team members

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent industry experience 
• Minimum of 2-4 years experience in QA Automation
• Experience working in issue tracking and project management software (IE. JIRA)
