Piper Companies is currently looking for a Senior JavaScript Software Engineer to join a team within Durham NC. This Senior JavaScript Software Engineer will be joining an industry-leading organization supporting a greenfield development project. The Senior JavaScript Software Engineer will sit in Durham, NC in a hybrid setting working onsite a few days a week.
Responsibilities for the Senior JavaScript Software Engineer Include:
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions using JavaScript Technologies such as Node and React
• Engage in every aspect of the software development lifecycle including design, specifications, and development through implementation.
• Promote and enhance the use of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Work closely with the architecture team
Qualifications for the Senior JavaScript Software Engineer include:
• 2 years of experience developing and designing solutions using JavaScript and JavaScript technologies (e.g., Node, Express, React)
• Strong AWS experience

SQL database table and query development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of data integration, integration patterns, and orchestrations; strong REST API understanding is a must, with the ability to work with SOAP services as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Compensation for the Senior JavaScript Software Engineer include:
• Salary Range: $115,000 - 160,000 (Based on professional experience)
