Job Background or context:
- Client Personal Wealth Management application team is responsible for designing, building and enhancing applications used to support Client Private Bank and Personal Wealth Management business.
- This role is for a hands-on senior Technical specialist to develop and support mission critical portfolio management and trading applications for the global 24x6 business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop front end using Angular, TypeScripts.
- Develop backend using Java/Spring Framework.
- Refactor legacy code for efficiency and enhance features.
- Collaborate with peers on leveraging the global data strategy and initiatives for robust, scalable solutions.
- Provide technical direction, with innovative ideas and creative solutions
Knowledge or Experience:
- Have 5 plus years of relevant experience in Brokerage or investment technology.
- Must have excellent coding experience
- Strong Angular, TypeScripts, Java, Spring framework, Micro Services, JPA.
- Expertise in OOAD and design Patterns.
- Linux scripting experience is preferred.
- Good RDBMS (Oracle) with expertise in large data sets
