Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is Hiring a Paralegal (Real Estate) Near San Francisco, CA

San Francisco, California Job Description Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is seeking a Paralegal to join its Real Estate Practice in any of its West Coast offices, in Houston, in Washington DC or Northern Virginia, or in New York. The successful candidate will work in a friendly, collaborative environment and be responsible for coordinating real estate and loan closings (e.g., working on closing checklists and documents, setting up closing rooms and coordinating electronic and in-person signings and all aspects of real estate transactions), title and survey reviews, formation of entities and handling filings regarding LLCs, partnerships and corporations with governmental agencies (such as the Delaware Secretary of State and other state SOS offices), preparation of UCC’s and UCC filings, and maintaining electronic and other files. The work is very varied in nature, as clients include owners, developers, lenders and investors. Successful candidates should have three (3) or more years of commercial real estate paralegal experience along with a college degree. Candidates should possess strong organizational, communication and time management skills and be proficient with MS Office Suite. Being a licensed notary a plus.
