Overview

Pillar Innovations is an Industrial Solutions and Service Company with 15 years of experience in the Energy, Mining, Manufacturing, Industrial Construction, Aggregate, and Renewables Industries. The Corporate Headquarters are located in Grantsville, MD with several offices throughout the country.

The general role of the Sales Manager is to be responsible for the overall strategy of the Sales Operations portfolio of customers and to sell all product lines and services within the Company. This includes fulfilling the high expectations set for our customer relationships. This individual will foster new business opportunities, uncover prospective expansion options and continuously deepen current customer relationships within multiple significant accounts.

The Sales Manager will be based out of the Pillar Innovations’ office, located in Evansville, IN.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales growth in respective markets
  • Drive performance and sales by focusing on and improving pipelines and trainings
  • Leverage marketing resources to assist in strategically developing sales forecast/planning
  • Continuously improve results by identifying opportunities and recommending innovative sales solutions
  • Keep track and consistently try to increase earned revenue
  • Identify and attend sales networking opportunities
  • Assist as necessary and appropriate in all aspects and activities of the division
  • Become familiar with the products and services of the company by participating in production, bidding, estimating as opportunity allows

Qualifications

  • BA in Sales or related field
  • Five years’ experience in Sales
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and/or automation
  • Proven analytical ability and demonstrated leadership competencies
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue
  • Effective time management skills
  • Professional and confident demeanor
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Effective and diplomatic verbal and written communications skills, tact and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable; trustworthy; and possess a positive and productive attitude
  • Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety and safe practices and making safety a top priority
