PACIFIC COAST SECURITY, also doing business as PIERCE COUNTY SECURITY, has been in business since 1927 providing security services throughout Western Washington.

Currently we are now hiring for: Security Officer to work at State office buildings in Olympia/Tumwater. Jobs also available in Tacoma.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

  • Control Access
  • Walking Patrols
  • Enforce security rules
  • Deter theft and vandalism
  • Watch for fire, flood or other hazards
  • Notify police, fire or medical personnel when needed
  • Write reports of incidents
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • COVID - Vaccination Required
  • Obtain a Washington State Guard Card - PCS will pay the $101 security fee for employees that complete 90 days of employment
  • Military, security or security related experience is preferred, but not required
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Clear criminal record
  • Pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
  • Computer Skills
  • Multi Tasking
  • Excellent Grooming Standards
