RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Program initiatives for stroke and chest pain accreditation and assure compliance with accrediting body for stroke and chest pain programs. Functions as clinician and program coordinator for the stroke and chest pain program in the Emergency Department and throughout the facility. Coordinates and manages care of chest pain and stroke patients to meet service needs, ensure continuity of care, and eliminate fragmentation of care and services in all settings across the continuum.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Registered Nurse with a Bachelor degree in Nursing preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke and cardiac care. Experience with data analysis and research required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in critical care, cardiac cath lab and/or Emergency Department preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications
