Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is a key contributor to Piedmont Candy’s brand portfolio, developing strategy and overseeing a wide array of business functions including branding, communication channels, promotional opportunities, and market research.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for understanding what makes our target audience tick, developing marketing campaigns that position our brand according to those motivators; driving not only customer engagement but defining our brand's reputation and image within the market.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate new product development
• Manages internal price lists, spec sheets, and packaging details.

• Responsible for creative development including creating designs and layouts for media outlets.
• Lead creative development of retail displays.
• Good understanding of social media marketing strategies, assisting in developing, growing, and managing multiple in-house and client projects.
• Oversight of agencies managing social media management and website development.
• Graphic Design abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food marketing or brand management is preferred.
• Basic graphic design skills are required.
• Ability to manage projects across multiple departments.
• Must have strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to apply marketing principles to innovative solutions.
• Experienced with leading project activities with external vendors.
• Must be able to perform with minimal direction at a high level, be team-oriented, and be willing to work collaboratively.
• Excellent written and communication skills; comfortable with presentations and public speaking.
• Proactive self-starter with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
• Strong project management skills.
• BA or BS degree required.
