Piatt Companies is Hiring a Front Office Manager Near Angola, IN

Wingate by Wyndham Angola is currently looking for a Front Office Manager. The Front Office Manager supervises day to day operations, coordinates and participates in activities of front desk, directing, training, and scheduling of team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall operations of the front desk, guest service agents and night audit team members.
  • Understand and comprehend Property Management System (PMS).
  • Understand and comprehend Revenue Management systems according to Brand.
  • Possess full knowledge and understanding of our company’s handbook, SOPs, and processes; adhere to and enforce those in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Take immediate action on problems that are encountered in the hotel.
  • Promote teamwork and associate morale.
  • Work with the sales staff on all special rate programs, implementing and maintaining all group room blocks.
  • Participate in Manager on Duty (MOD) Program as needed.
  •  Attend weekly staff meetings.
  • Create all front desk/night audit checklists for operational needs.
  • Familiar with Night Audit functions.
  • Greet all guests with a friendly welcome and a smile. Respond promptly to guest questions complaints and requests. Providing the highest quality of service to guests at all times.
  • Communicate with other hotel departments regarding guest service requests or complaints.
  • Assist other leadership team members and/or managers when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous front desk supervisory experience 
  • Highly organized, solid oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and sell effectively
  • Leadership skills
  • Trustworthy and results-driven
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent business and analytical skills
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced business environment.
